Introduced at CES 2009, the Walkman NWZ-X1000 is a is a series of high end touchscreen MP3 players from Sony. Available in capacities of 16 and 32GB, the device features a stunning 3.0" OLED touchscreen, built-in WiFi, NetFront Internet browser (featured on the PSP), FM tuner, and active noise canceling built right into the device.The device features a new digital amplifyer system which Sony claims should improves sound quality over comparable amplifiers found in similar devices. While there is currently no official word on price or release date, rumors are the device will be available in May at a cost of $299 or $399 depending on the capacity.
