Edit

Like the SS2300, the Sony HT-SS2000 is meant to be a companion to Sony’s line of Blu-Ray disc players, and is tuned to handle 1080p signals without any loss, via HDMI ins and outs. A 1000-watt RMS A/V receiver handles the true 5.1 surround sound duties, and this model features Sony’s S-Master digital amplifier for balance and separation of signals. It also features Sony’s BRAVIA Theatre Sync; when connected to a select number of Sony BRAVIA HDTVs, the HT-SS2000 surrenders basic control functions to the TV, which automates and simplifies processes that would otherwise have needed multiple remotes. It also features a , for interfacing with PCs, iPods, and Bluetooth devices, via attachments sold separately.
