Frequently Asked Questions

  • Connect all components (cable box/DVD/PS3) to TV and then run optical to sound bar or connect all components to sound bar and then single HDMI to TV?

Both setup are ok but we recommend first to connect all devices to the sound bar and 1 connection from the sound bar going to the TV. If that setup will not work, you may try connecting your devices to the TV and run 1 connection from the TV to the sound bar.

  • Will this work with soundbar TV mounts?

It depends on the mount, but the keyhole system on the mounting brackets is very specific. It does not work with the Rocketfish Soundbar Mount (RF-SBM101).

  • How easy or hard is it to hide the HDMI cables when this soundbar is mounted on a wall?

It's almost as if the mounting options were an afterthought. If you're running HDMI from sources (cable box, dvd, gaming console, etc.) to soundbar to TV, the cables from the sources have to go behind the soundbar, then make a 180-degree turn downward to fit in the HDMI ports. This not only puts constant tension on the connectors, it leaves you with visible clunky loops of cable above the soundbar. Not intuitive at all.
