The DVP–NS700 is an upconverting DVD player that provides an image supported by Sony’s Precision Cinema Progressive Technology and Precision Drive 3 System, giving it the ability to receive a true image from the source. Sony has also upscaled this player to 1080p through the HDMI connection, and equipped it with a video 12 bit/108 Mhz DAC. Sony equipped the DVP-NS700 with a bundle of features, such as the multiple video playback formats and the range of output capabilities, making it an all-round player but not Sony’s strongest, which is the DVP-NS90V. The BRAVIA Sync system enables this player to sync with inputs that are compatible with Sony AV devices.
