Edit

The MDR-EX56LP are mid-range in-ear headphones from Sony. Available in black, white, and blue, they employ 9mm drivers and neodymium magnets, and are intended to produce sound quality a step up from that of Apple's basic iPod earbuds, for instance, as well as superior bass. They lack, however, the high-sensitivity drivers utilized by many models in Sony's 'Premium' line. Silicone earbuds are included in three sizes to ensure a close fit in all ears and minimize sound distortion and leakage. The MDR-EX56LP come with a 3.9-ft neck chain-type cord, and a carrying pouch.
