The Sony STR-DH810 is one of four A/V receivers (DH510, DH710, DH810, DH1010) released in 2010. It builds from the STR-DH710 by incorporating an additional HDMI connection, a universal remote, 5W of more power per channel and more importantly, 1080p upconversion of analog video signals. Like its predecessor, the STR-DH810 includes onboard decoding for Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio; 2nd-zone wireless audio via an S-AIR transmitter; an audio return channel for using just one cable for TV audio. There is also standby pass-through of a/v content via HDMI connected devices.
