The Sony STR-DH510 is one of four A/V receivers (DH510, DH710, DH810, DH1010) released in 2010. It’s the base unit in the series and offers 5.1-channels with 100W per channel. Included also is Blu-ray Disc audio decoding (Linear PCM Only), an HDMI Repeater for simplified audio/video signal management, and five HD connections, including 3 HDMI and 2 Component. The STR-DH510 features HDMI standby pass-through, allowing a user to continue to pass a/v signals to a display even when the receiver is turned off. There’s also an HDMI audio return channel, which lets the user send TV audio to the receiver with a single cable.
