The Sony STR-DE695 is a high definition digital A/V receiver featuring 6.1-channel audio capabilities with a total power output up to 600 Watts. It uses Dolby Pro Logic II and DTS Neo:6 codecs to transform legacy stereo surround sources into 5.1 and 6.1-channel audio, respectively. In addition, the Sony STR-DE695 receiver features a variety of premium inputs and outputs (A/V, S-Video, Digital, Optical, Component) for receiving audio/video content from a multitude of sources. The STR-DE695 doesn’t come with HDMI, but it does offer component video switching for 2 sources with 80MHz bandwidth for flawless transfers of HDTV sources. Additional features include 30 AM/FM presets, an included remote, and two sets of speaker outputs.
