The Sony Bloggie MHS-CM5 is a slim, lightweight portable camcorder for taking both still shots and video capture. The camcorder has a sleek design with a flip-out LCD screen for user operation and lining up shots. The camcorder has a 5x optical zoom, with a 20x digital zoom, and is capable of full High Definition vidieo recording and 5MP still-frame captures. Face Detection software is also included to automatically focus on specific people during use for optimized shots. Memory sticks are used for media storage and the camcorder does not have any built-in storage. A USB connection is used for both uploading files and charging the camcorder's battery through whichever computer it is connected.
