Edit

The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX10 is one of five 3D-compliant digital cameras released together in early 2011. It is the only unit in the series to support full 1080/60p high-resolution video capture. It also supports 3D still image capture and stereo audio capture. It also has a Carl Zeiss® Vario-Tessar Lens like the DSC-WX9. However, the lens on the DSC-WX10’s lens is 7x, bright F.2 24mm wide-angle. This makes it more compatible for high-speed auto-focus shots. Additional features include a 3” LCD display, support for 3D panorama shots, and a Dual Record functionality for capturing videos and stills at the same time. Note however that the Dual Record function doesn’t work while shooting in full HD.

Additional Information

All five models (DSC-TX10, DSC-TX100V, DSC-HX7V, DSC-WX10, DSC-WX9) use a single lens and imager to produce 3D still images. They do this by taking two consecutive pictures in different focus positions. These images are then combined to create a 3D effect.
