The Sony Alpha SLT-A77 is the successor to the well received A700 Sony model of DSLR cameras.  The Sony Alpha SLT-A77 has a 24.3 megapixel sensor and a high-res OLED electronic viewfinder.  This DSLR body can be paired with Sony's newly released 16-50mm f/2.8 lens for optimal photo quality.  The SLT-A77 is constructed from magnesium alloy, making this camera very light, even with the lens attached.  The camera has dual displays, one tilt and one swivel-enabled 3 inch LCD and a XGA resolution OLED-EVF. The EVF is bright and clear and images appear very sharp.  The Sony Alpha SLT-A77 offers a variety of shooting modes including 1080p/60p AVCHD. Optical image stabilization creates sharp and smooth footage and with continuous focus mode the camera will adjust seamlessly from close to distance subjects.  The Sony Alpha SLT-A77 also includes features such as GPS tagging, automatic distortion correction and 3D still and video modes.
