The SMC SMCWGBR14-N is a wireless broadband router, allowing users to share a broadband internet connection across their home or small business network. The SMC SMCWGBR14-N features Wireless-N technology, but is still compatible with Wireless-G and –B technologies. It also allows four wired 10/100/1000 Gigabit connections. The SMCWGBR14-N boasts built-in firewall protection, using a NAT firewall with SPI. The SMCWGBR14-N uses WPA and WPA2 security encryption, MIMO streams and allows VPN pass-through as an option. Released August 2007, the SMC SMCWGBR14-N retails at $170.
