Edit

The Sigma 24mm F1.8 EX DG ASP Macro is a fast wide-angle lens with a fixed focal length. It was designed for use with full frame digital cameras, though it is also compatible with smaller APS-c size sensors. In particular, the Sigma 24mm lens was released as an economical competitor to the Nikon 24mm f/1.4 AF-S lens. It offers two full f-stops more light than a standard zoom at its shortest end and 1/3 more than Nikon 24mm f/2.8 and fast f/2.8 models. It does however have some limitations, including inferior corner sharpness, no internal focusing meter, and softness at f/1.8 with noticeable CA.
