Edit

The Sigma 17-50mm F2.8 EX DC OS HSM is a zoom lens designed specifically for smaller chip APS-c digital cameras. A built-in optical stabilization system compensates for slight movements, enabling handheld shooting. Focusing is handled by a Hyper-Sonic Motor, which shifts the lens quickly and silently. FLD glass elements are used to achieve a performance that is roughly equal to fluorite glass, and is designed to compensate for color aberration. The entire lens is built in an ultra-compact design with a total length of 3.6 inches. Accessories that come with the lens include a lens hood, front and rear lens caps, and a carrying case.
