Edit

The Shure PG81 is a condenser microphone ideal for lighter, acoustic instruments. Different than most Shure microphones, the PG81 has a flat frequency that's wide and uniform and produces consistent sensitivity through frequency range. Its cardioid pattern that rejects noise and controls feedback is ideal for acoustic guitars, pianos, strings and woodwinds. The PG81 also has a durable metal construction, an internal shockmount, an on/off switch for on-stage control and its probe style allows close miking.

Features

  • Cardioid polar pattern picks up the most sound from in front of the microphone and some sound from the sides
  • Condenser cartridge has a lightweight, sensitive diaphragm and smoothly captures sound nuances.
  • Durable metal construction
  • On/off switch for on-stage control
