Edit

The Shimano Stradic 6000 FI is a mid-cost spinning reel. This reel was designed with Shimano's S Concept, which stresses smooth rotation with a comfortable retrieve, silent operation of parts, and a solid construction. The Super Stopper II feature of the Stradic 6000 FI uses a one-way bearing to prevent backplay, so that you can reset your hook without having to untangle the line. This reel's Paladin Gear Durability Enhancement helps to ensure that it will retain its out-of-the-box smoothness for a long time. The Stradic 6000 FI's Aero Wrap II feature is a worm gear oscillation system with a specially designed pitch. It provides a uniform line lay and winding shape to prevent loss of energy during the cast. The A-RB bearings of the Stradic 6000 FI are stainless steel ball bearings that have been through the A-RB treatment process, which makes them at least ten times more corrosion resistant than standard stainless steel ball bearings. This model differs from the closely related Stradic 5000 FI model in that it has forty-two inches of line retrieve per crank (as opposed to the Stradic 5000 FI's thirty-seven inches), has a higher line capacity and power pro line capacity, has twenty-nine pounds of maximum drag (as opposed to the Stradic 5000 FI's twenty-five pounds of maximum drag), and weighs more (twenty-one pounds, as opposed to 14.1 pounds). The Shimano Stradic 6000 FI spinning reel is equipped with a Dyna-Balance feature, which eliminates wobble and vibrations during retrieve by counter balancing the rotor to enhance sensitivity and smoothness.
