The Shimano Socorro 10000 F is a mid-cost spinning reel, made for offshore use. Like most of Shimano's spinning reels, the 10000 F differs from its line mates in terms of inches of line retrieve per crank, line capacity, power pro line capacity, gear ratio, pounds of maximum drag and weight. Product features are shared throughout the line, such as the aluminum cold forged spool, which is designed to be durable. In terms of reel operation, the Varispeed oscillation system uses an oval oscillation gear to provide a consistent spool speed, which improves your casting. The Propulsion Line Management System of the Shimano Socorro 10000 F is equipped with a spool lip design that helps to increase casting distances at the same time as preventing backlash.
