Edit

The Shimano Sienna 4000 Rear Drag is a low-cost spinning reel. The Varispeed Oscillation system of this reel uses an oval oscillation gear to alter the speed of the oscillation cam, providing a consistent spool speed. The result is an even line lay, which improves casting distance. The Power Roller II feature reduces twist from casting as well as retrieving by using an oversized line roller. This roller is enhanced with a tapered area to help line get onto it quicker. By using a counter balanced rotor, a feature Shimano calls Dyna-Balance, retrieve wobble is eliminated on this reel. The above features are all shared by the rest of the Sienna line of reels. The Shimano Sienna 4000 Rear Drag differs from the rest of the Sienna line in terms of line retrieve per crank, weight, line capacity, and pounds of maximum drag.
