The AQUOS Quattron LC-40LX3 is one of four LCD HDTVs released in July 2010 as a more affordable counterpart to the 3D-ready AQUOUS Quattron LC series. It sacrifices its peers 3D, while still maintaining a bevy of other features (see DETAILS). As the base unit, the LC-40LV3 hosts a 1080P resolution with a 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio. And likes its superior counterparts, the unit includes a plethora of inputs for HD content from BD/DVD players, the Internet, and DLNA-compliant devices. Users can even use the included remote to access Web content from Yahoo, YouTube, etc (assuming they have a LAN network or purchase a wireless USB adapter). Included also is a 2.1-channel, 7-speaker audio system designed for reproducing high-quality audio atypical to an LCD television.

Additional Information

Each model in the LX series features a four-color scheme (YRGB) for improved colors and LCD drive technology coupled with a scanning LED backlight for reduced lag.

I wish I would have looked into the digital extras before I bought this TV.

It supports some good things (Tsutaya TV, etc) but it also has some really weird choices. Like Kodak Picture World ... ??? ... what about Flickr or Picasa? My friends have told me that Panasonic has better Google product integration, but I went with Sharp because I had an Aquos before and really liked it.
