The Aquos LC-C46700UN is a 46-inch LCD HDTV from Sharp, released in 2010. This television has an “UltraBrilliant” LED backlight system, a technology allowing for bright images while maintaining a pure color spectrum. Also prominently featured is 120Hz technology, a rendering method that virtually eliminates motion blur from LCD displays. This feature is most effective when watching high-motion video, such as that from live sports events or action films. Other features include Full HD 1080p support, built-in ATSC/QAM/NTSC over-the-air tuners and six high-definition terminals. Four of these are HDMI inputs, while the other two are Component. For those concerned about image quality, this Aquos HDTV supports active contrast and active color to dynamically adjust picture settings to produce the best possible on-screen presentation. The Aquos LC-C46700UN is housed in a black cabinet, with bottom-mounted 10w speakers recessed in a metallic-colored grill. This HDTV uses 200w of power maximum.
