Edit

The Sharp HT-SB500 is a sound bar that competes with Pioneer's first attempt at a new HTP-SB300 sound bar. It is a 3.1-channel sound bar that includes optical and coaxial SPDIF inputs, stereo RCAs and a 3.5-mm jack. It has great onboard decoders for DTS, Dolby Digital, and Dolby Pro Logic II, and also includes Dolby Virtual Speaker and SRS TruSurround HD processing to make the sound larger than the sound bar itself can provide. On top of everything else, the Sharp HT-SB500 includes a touch panel for its up front controls. Left and right speakers come with a central channel and a subwoofer designed to work with the latest LCD TVs. Included are also basic features such as Bass, Treble and Sub level options.
