Edit

The Sennheiser e 865 is a condenser microphone built for use in a live performance. The frequency response range of 40 to 20,000 Hz is smoothly reproduced throughout allowing for rich vocal signals, and the super-cardioid pickup pattern cuts through other on-stage levels to focus solely on the subject it is pointed at. A steel inlet basket cuts pops and breathing sounds. The all-metal housing reduces handling noise to a minimum, and aids durability to such an extent that a 10 year manufacturer's warranty is included. Even high levels of sound up to a 150 dB SPL can be processed.
