Edit

The Sennheiser e 845 is a microphone built to pick up a single source in a live stage performance. This is similar to the Sennheiser e 840, but a supercardioid pickup pattern is used for a more narrow response range. This means audio from the source is picked up when the microphone is pointed directly at them, and none of the sounds off-axis are picked up. Sound quality while moving is maintained through consistent on/off axis and proximity response. The full frequency response range from 40 Hz to 16 Khz is processed smoothly for improved signal quality. Feedback rejection is built in, and a hum compensating coil accounts for electromagnetic interference.
