Bass response is very disappointing, can be outdone by headphones with have the MSRP.

Driver casing is a thin plastic that feels cheap.

Cables are thin and using the cable separator is a pain due to a "sticky" rubber coating.

Sennheiser MX 370s are low-end earbud style headphones made specifically for use with MP3 players and iPods. Its wide frequency dynamic driver system promises an effective frequency range of 18-20,000 Hz while its lossy media optimization ensures optimal performance with MP3 devices. Additionally, the MX 370s' included storage pouch ensures longer life by keeping them in better condition for longer.

The MX 370s' wide frequency dynamic driver system utilizes a ring-shaped permanent magnet and an oscillation coil to produce superior sound quality in a smaller package by providing more balanced sound reproduction (improved highs, lows and mids), without driving up the price point. Their compressed media optimization means that the MX 370s bring out additional quality when playing back lossy media file types (MP3, WAV, AAC) by restoring high frequencies somewhat, which are typically somewhat muted by the ripping/converting process. Meanwhile, the MX 370s' included storage pouch makes travel easier as it is also has room for an iPod Nano (4th generation) as well as ensuring longer earphone life if used regularly.

The packaging says "Vibrant Bass", but after buying them I feel like they lied. The Bass is vibrantly missing. I'm usually a fan of Sennheiser. I'm an audio engineer, I know what good is supposed to be like. I was looking for some open air cheapo ear buds that did not go inside the ear canal but hoping to find some with decent bass. I used to have low cost Sonys and Kenwoods that I bought 15 years ago that did the job, but both are lost. These Sennheisers have no bass. I don't expect them to perform exactly like my Koos PortaPro or Sennheiser PX-100, but ear buds can be much better than these. MX 370 has higher sound quality than the stock iPod headphones, but unless you don't need Bass, you'll be just as disappointed.
