Edit

First introduced at CES in January of 2008, the latest lineup of high end, dynamically driven earphones from Sennheiser consists of the IE 6, IE 7 and IE 8. Released later in March, the IE 7 features the same isolation (up to 26dB) as the other two models, and strikes a middle ground - sporting a 10 - 19,000Hz frequency response that is more balanced than the IE 6, yet less extended than the IE 8. Utilizing the same Kevlar coated cables and highly durable materials and construction, the IE 7 does not allows users to replace their cables or tweak their frequency response - two features reserved for the IE 8. Packaged with a cleaning tool, transport case and a cable clip, the IE 7 comes with a respectable limited 2 year warranty.
