Edit

The Schwinn Protocol 2.0 is a lower mid-cost dual suspension mountain bike. Though the two models have most specs in common, this bike differs from the lower cost Protocol 1.0 model in that it has twenty-four speeds instead of just twenty-one, and in that it has Promax disc brakes in both the front and rear, instead of just the front. Features shared between the two models include a Suntour suspension fork, which helps with shock absorption. Other shared features include a dual suspension frame made of steel, which is geared specifically toward mountain biking. The SRAM drivetrain of both models is designed to provide reliable gear shifting (with the MRX Grip Shifts) over unforgiving trails.
