The SanDisk Nintendo DSi SDHC Memory Card is a licensed storage device, released in late September 2009. Those who wish to purchase this memory card will generally pay a premium, as it is an officially licensed product with the “Nintendo seal.” The manufacturer claims this memory cards can multiply the DSi’s internal capacity by up to 30 times. This SDHC card is marketed specifically to Nintendo DSi owners; however it can be used with other non-Nintendo devices as well. SanDisk recommends this memory card for use with music and pictures, citing a storage capacity of 2000 songs for the 8GB model and 1000 songs for the 4GB model. Physically, the Nintendo DSi SDHC Memory Card is white in appearance, and is small enough to carry around wherever one goes.
