The BD-C8000 is a portable Blu-ray player from Samsung, released in June 2010. This player is compatible with 3D movies, and features support for a number of internet media streaming services.


The Samsung BD-C8000 features a 10.3” screen and a three hour battery life. When connected to a high definition television over HDMI, users can experience Full HD 1080p images with 3D support. The player itself is controlled via touch sensor controls, which respond to the user’s fingertips. With built-in Wi-Fi, users can connect the BD-C8000 to their home network for use with DLNA media servers or any of the built-in Samsung Apps. Apps include Netflix, Blockbuster and YouTube for video streaming, and Pandora internet radio for music. Additional features include social networking integration, including support for Facebook and Twitter.
