Large enough to wear over regular eyeglasses.

IR sensor is way too sensitive and bright flashes on screen can knock the glasses out of commission for a couple seconds.

Glare is a big problem with these requiring an almost completely dark room to eliminate.

The Samsung SSG-2200ARs are a mid-priced pair of 3D glasses. Like the closely related SSG-2100ABs, the SSG-2200ARs are geared specifically toward adults. Given that your TV has a 3D emitter, these 3D glasses are made to enhance your home theater experience. Also like the SSG-2100ABs, the SSG-2200ARs have an active (as opposed to passive) design, meaning the shutter technology splits the images between the left and right lenses. This process halfs the frame rate of incoming content to 120. Samsung promotes this design as offering a distortion-free 3D viewing. The Samsung SSG-2200ARs are SP381223AB battery-powered, and the battery is rechargable. You can also power the SSG-2200ARs with the Micro USB cable, a feature which distinguishes the SSG-2200ARs from the SSG-2100ABs. At 0.09 pounds, the SSG-2200ARs are lightweight, though not quite as lightweight as the 0.08 pound SSG-2100ABs.
