The Samsung PN64D8000 is the flagship offering in Samsung's 2011 line of plasma TVs, having the largest screen size in the D8000 line at sixty-four inches. This 3D-enabled display shows 1080p images in 2D, and is equipped with Samsung's Real Black Panel. This panel reduces glare, and allows you to view sharp images with deep blacks. The 600Hz refresh with subfield motion helps to cut down on blur and streaks. As this is one of Samsung's Smart TVs, it is equipped with Wi-Fi, as well as the Samsung Smart Hub. The Smart Hub allows you to search for online content using the Samsung apps, browse the internet, and recommends viewing options based on your viewing history, in a feature that Samsung calls Your Video.

I have a large family room with 2 windows and a some light from outside, will I have problem with glaringness with this TV? How is this compared to UN65C8000?

From what I've read the #samsung_pn64d8000 should perform well in a bright room. Since the #samsung_un65c8000 is LED it has a significantly higher price point. It depends on what you're looking for but from a value standpoint I would say the #samsung_pn64d8000 is a better buy.
