The 2243WM is a mid-range model in Samsung's SyncMaster line of computer monitors. The 22", widescreen LCD display has a maximum resolution of 1680 x 1050, a brightness of 300 cd/m, and a dynamic contrast ratio of 8000:1. These specs, along with a response time of 5 ms, place the 2243WM at about the midpoint of Samsung's consumer display offerings. It is also, however, one of the few SyncMaster models to include built-in speakers. Its DVI interface supports HDCP, and the monitor features 'MagicColor' technology which, Samsung claims, produces more vivid images. Samsung also includes several display presets, including Internet, Game, and Movie modes.
