The Samsung Wave 2 (S5250) is a low-end to mid-range smartphone running Samsung's Bada OS. It features a 3.2-inch TFT LCD touchscreen with WQVGA resolution, quad-band GPRS/EDGE support (no 3G), 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 and A-GPS. Additionally, the Wave 2 sports a 3 megapixel camera with video recorder as well as 80MB of internal memory, expandable up to 16GB by way of microSD.

The Wave 2's Bada OS features a social hub which ties all communications (email, IM, text messaging) and social networking together into one easy-to-read-and-navigate area while the TouchWiz 3.0 user interface provides a smooth altogether OS experience. Its lack of 3G support places the Wave 2 directly at the lower end of the smartphone spectrum, likely being aimed more at younger audiences or those looking for something less fancy than typical smartphones.
