Edit

The Samsung Epic 4G is a high-end Android-based smartphone available with wireless provider Sprint in the US. Similar to a handful of other Samsung smartphones for different carriers (Samsung Captivate and Samsung Galaxy S), the Epic 4G promises mostly the same specs, including: a 1GHz Samsung Hummingbird processor, a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera, a 4-inch Super AMOLED screen, and version 2.1 of Google's Android OS. However, the Epic 4G does boast a few unique features, namely a front facing camera and a physical keyboard.

The Epic 4G's 1GHz Hummingbird processor allows it to easily handle running apps and games as well as heavier multitasking without much noticeable slowdown. Its 4" Super AMOLED screen ensures optimal clarity from any angle as well as in any lighting condition while consuming less battery life than typical TFT screens. Additionally, the Epic 4G's front facing VGA camera allows for video calling while its physical keyboard features a 5-row QWERTY setup with easy-to-use raised keys.
