Edit

The Samsung Alias 2 (SCH-u750) is an entry-level dual-flip/text messaging phone (available on the Verizon network) similar to its predecessor, the Samsung Alias. It features the same dual-flip capability as its predecessor, while bringing a new E-Ink 'Magic' keyboard for easier texting and dialing. Additionally, the Alias 2 sports a 2.6” QVGA display and a 2.0 megapixel camera as well as Bluetooth and 3G capability.

The Alias 2's dual-flip design allows its keyboard to provide two functions, that of a full QWERTY keyboard and a standard dial pad, more easily. However, its E-Ink Magic keys make this an even more useful ability as the keyboard automatically changes from dial pad to QWERTY depending on how the phone is opened. Its 2.6” QVGA (240x320) display is of a higher resolution than the Alias, providing crisper images and brighter colour reproduction.
