Edit

The HD-BD2 is Samsung's entry to the relatively new Blu-Ray-oriented home theatre market, and was indeed the first available for sale by any manufacturer. It features 1100 watts (RMS) output through a full 7.1 channel surround speaker system with Dolby True HD and dts-HD compatibility for powerful and accurate sound. The system also comes equipped with a built-in DVD/Blu-Ray player for full HD playback of all disc media with HDMI. The unit features the same tall speaker design as Samsung's other high-end systems, and the overall aesthetic is decidedly high-end and sleek.
