Edit

The Samsung SMX-F34BN is a 16GB Flash Memory Camcorder that retails for just $300 and and was released in 2009. This is an unusual camera type that can record up to 8 hours. It has a zoom of 42x which is pretty powerful, it also has an optimized mode for Youtube, which is a feature that's usually found in pocket camcorders such as the RCA EZ200. It has a 2.7" LCD, which is almost a standard feature across miniDVs, HDs and DVD camcorders.  While the manufacturer claims that this could be a replacement for digital cameras, it only takes a miserly 800x600 pixel still.

Features
  • Record SD video to SD/SDHC cards and 16 GB of internal flash memory
  • Enhance 34x optical zoom up to 42x with Samsung's new Intelli-zoom
  • Web & Mobile shooting mode for easy online video sharing
  • Capture 800x600 digital still photos
  • Swivel hand grip for comfortable low-angle shooting
