The Samsung HMX-U10 is an ultra-compact HD camcorder released by Samsung in September, 2009. This compact camera has full HD video capbilities with 1920x1080 resolution, and can take 10 megapixel still images with the 1/2.3-inch CMOS sensor. It has a 2-inch LCD screen to review videos and images, only weighs 95g with battery and measures 56mm x 103mm x 15.5mm so it can easily be carried anywhere. For easy browsing on the camera, each video is represented by a small thumbnail with short playback when highlighted.  The battery can be charges using a USB connection or with the supplied AC adapter.  The camera body has a 7 degree angle for a more ergonomic grip that other point-and-shoot cameras. The Samsung HMX-U10 is available in black, silver, red and green.

VERY POOR camera. Will NOT take focused pictures. Poor zoom control. Confusing menu. VERY POOR OPTICS. No Flash. No ability to take photos at night. No Video or photo stabilization. I DO NOT recommend this camera at all. Looks pretty, but takes lousy pictures. It's going back. Will not look at any other Samsung cameras. Spend your money on Nikkon... Better cameras for same price or less.

I agree that so far flash is not working well for me... I prefer a non-flash pics cos e-time I got it better that way.. so, for me, this camcorder is still a good buy.

Flashes are a funny thing, they never EVER are perfect on any of them, it's nice to have but taking a picrute in the dark is not what I would do and it only works for 5 feet max and you get crappy at best so if thats all that's wrong I'll take it

Not impressed! I'm sending it back. There is no light setting on it so there is no way to use in lower light or outside night situations. Maybe okay for others, but not for me.
