When you connect the camera to select smartphones, you can use the Remote ViewFinder app to turn your phone into a viewfinder. You can control your camera from up to 30 feet away and preview images, adjust camera settings, frame the scene, and tag the shot location--all from your phone. Frequently Asked Questions
Can you take a picture while simultaneously recording video?
Yes, but it only allows for 6 pictures while you are recording. And you can only record for 20 minutes at a time. But they look really good.
Do you need a memory card with this camera or does it have a built in memory feature?
The camera does not come with a memory card and you will need to purchase one to use this camera.
Can you upload the video directly to youtube? How long does the battery life last? Will it last for one day trip?
Uploads are managed by your phone or laptop, you cannot upload to anywhere but Samsung's service directly from the camera. Using Wifi, you can run the battery down very quickly (about 4 of hours, 200 photos, some remote viewfinder, some auto backup to the phone and one movie.). The battery is rechargable LiIon, so with decent management will last years. If you want more battery life, transfer files with the usb to your laptop (It will charge at the same time), or use a lower resolution for faster transfers.
