Edit

The Rossignol S3 Freeride is a mid-cost freeride ski. Rossignol promotes the S3 Freeride as being two skis in one. On powder, the 128/98/118 directional sidecut allows you to make tight maneuvers. On piste, the 110/98/110 sidecut handles like a twin design. The core of this ski is all one type of wood, which helps to give it a consistent, solid feel. This ski is a step up from the lower cost S5 JIB in that it has the AmpTek system (which allows you to ski on powder with ease thanks to its front and back rockers), and the S3 Freeride has a powder tip (which is wide and raised, so that you can control the ski from the tip), as opposed to the JIB tip. This ski differs from the higher cost S6 JIB in that the S6 has a reverse camber design (-1 profile, for a versatile, floating feel on powder). There are size options available for the Rossignol S3 Freeride ski.
