It's ridiculously easy

From the simple remote to the intuitive interface, Roku Streaming Stick™ (HDMI Version) was designed to set up in a few quick-and-easy steps. All you need to get started is a high-speed Internet connection (and an HDTV, of course). The built-in wireless and guided setup mean you can be up and running in minutes. Frequently Asked Questions

  • I have two "older" TVs, and neither has an HDMI port. Is there any other option to use this on these TVs?

Yes the current Roku 2 will work for you but so will the current ROKU LT (the new version) and the current ROKU 1 for about the same price as the HDMI Streaming Stick. No sense paying for earphones if you don't need them. I'd go with the Roku 1 since it will work on about any TV up to 1080p HD so when you upgrade to a 1080p HDTV it isn't outdated. The LT works up to 720p HD. The LT and Roku 1 cost about the same thing.

  • Does this come with MLB.TV on it?

If it is available on the other models then yes. Just checked it IS in the channel store.

  • Will this output 1080i?

    Absolutely

  • What's the Difference Between the 3500R HDMI Streaming Stick and the 3400R Roku Ready Streaming Stick?

The Roku 3500R Streaming Stick (HDMI version) uses USB or AC power and is controlled by the included enhanced remote or your personal mobile device. The Roku Streaming Stick(Roku-Ready version) uses a special port (MHL) to power the device and can be controlled by the manufacturer remote or the Roku Ready included remote. The 3400R Roku Ready version is only compatible with MHL-port ready devices.
