Edit

The Ricoh G700SE is a rugged, compact digital camera released in early 2011 as an upgrade from the original G700 (2010). It inherits the enhanced water and shock resistance that led its predecessor to notoriety, but adds on the capability to accept add-on modules such as a GP-1 GPS dongle or a BR-1 barcode-scanning module—making it exceptionally alluring to governments and enterprises. Also added are Bluetooth v2.1+EDR (2.4GHz) and Wireless LAN (IEEE 8021.b/g) communication ports. Everything else remains the exact same, including microSD memory expansion, USB connectivity, and 720p video capture.
