Edit

The Ricoh CX4 is a compact digital camera released in September 2010 as an upgrade from the CX3 (February 2010). It inherits a bevy of features, including a 10mp backside-illuminated sensor, a 10.7X optical zoom, 720p video recording, and a 3” LCD screen. New to the CX4 is an advanced image stabilization system that supposedly reduces blur to a degree equivalent to utilizing a shutter speed 3.7 EV faster than is actually being employed. Also new is a “subject-tracking AF” autofocus system that automatically tracks the subject; a night landscape multi-shot mode that combines four exposures into a single photo; a creative shooting mode with camera effects; and a more portable body.
