The Ricoh Caplio RR750 is an entry-level, lightweight digital camera that builds from its predecessor, the RR730. Its 2.5” color TFT-LCD monitor hosts an impressive resolution of 7.1 megapixels, that when combined with the 12x zoom (3x optical / 4x digital), gives the RR750 the versatility to effectively capture any photographic situation with almost clairvoyant-like precision. Note also that Ricoh’s point-and-shoot technology has been upgraded for the RR750, allowing beginners the opportunity to more easily produce stunning digital images. Included also are six Scene Modes — Auto, Program, Landscape, Portrait, Sports, and Night — for adding a tab of creativity to one’s pictures. There’s also a Select Movie mode for creating your own films at 320x240, up to 30fps. Other additional aspects include an SD card slot, the option of using a rechargeable battery, and a USB interface for PC connectivity.
