Edit

The Abyssus is an entry-level Razer gaming mouse, offering a simplified, "back to basics" design. It is technically identical to the Abyssus Mirror, but features a matte rather than glossy black finish. Utilizing a 3500dpi infrared sensor, the Abyssus offers gaming-grade precision and responsiveness, but less than Razer's more expensive laser-guided mice, which operate at up to 5600dpi. The Abyssus is ambidextrous, unlike the similar DeathAdder models, which are a minor step up, featuring five programmable buttons rather than two. Users can toggle between 125Hz polling and 1000Hz Ultrapolling technology, which shrinks response time to 1 ms. Users can also quickly adjust sensitivity while the mouse is in use.
