The 800 Pro-RMK 155 is an upcoming mountain-terrain snowmobile from Polaris that offers a step-down from the company's 800 Pro-RMK 163 model. Slated for release in January 2011, this model features a significant drop in weight as compared to its 2010 counterpart, with a number of technologies implemented to improve the overall riding experience. Incorporating a carbon-fiber bumper with extruded billet mounts for style and function, adjustable PROTAPER handlebars are also included for fully-customizable steering. An updated 800-series CLEANFIRE injection-engine helps to maintain low overall temperature for consistently reliable performance, while the silencer, rotor and jackshaft of the snowmobile feature reduced rotation mass for maximum efficiency. The Pro-RMK 155 also features Polaris' own PRO-RIDE chassis with "Rider Active Control" technology for high-sensitivity weight transfer, as well as a 300% increase in rigidity from the 2010 model for precision handling.
