Edit

The Pioneer DEH-P740MP is a basic CD player and radio head unit. This is similar to the Pioneer DEH-P7400MP, but the faceplate has been redesigned with more flush controls. While the features are almost all identical, the RCA Preouts have been boosted to offer 4 volts to optional front, rear and subwoofer amplifiers. Audio output is sent to 4 channels with 50 watts of power, and equalization is handled through 5 factory presets and 2 custom presets. The unit comes ready for XM Satellite radio, and can control devices compatible with the IP-Bus system. The 16-character text display can show CD Text as well as ID3 Tag information from MP3s.
