The Pioneer Elite BDP-95FD is the third generation Blu-ray player from Pioneer released in October, 2007. It succeeds the BDP-94HD and BDP-HD1, and retails for $1000. The BDP-95FD supports Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital+, DTS-HD High Resolution, and DTS-HD Master Audio high-definition audio formats. It features an HDMI 1.3 output (/w HDMI-CEC technology for controlling other connected devices), 1080p/24 fps output, and includes Pioneer's proprietary "Home Media Gallery" functionality allowing you to stream DLNA-compatible devices across your home network.
