Released in December 2008, the Pioneer Elite BDP-09FD is a high-end Blu-ray player, and Pioneer's flagship model. Supporting BD Live 2.0 web content for extra media functionality, the BDP-09FD includes 4GB of internal storage. Providing full 1080p resolution at 60/24fps through a 16-bit Marvell QDEO video processor, the 09FD offers bitstream output and onboard decoding for high resolution audio formats through Wolfson WM8740 audio DACs, one dedicated to each of the 8 analog channels (7.1).  The 09FD supports dual HDMI which can both be used at the same time, and each port has seperate audio video settings for fine tuning. The 09FD is made of an aluminum chassis and has a steel underside for maximum protection. It also includes a slick blue LED light which displays across the front below a mini LCD display screen. The Pioneer Elite BDP-09FD has a MSRP of $2,199.
