The Pioneer BDP-330 is one of two iPhone-ready, Blu-ray disc players (BDP-330, Pioneer BDP-LX53) released in June 2010. Both units are also Wi-Fi ready and include BD Live compatibility, allowing users access to bonus content, firmware updates, and unrestricted access to YouTube. More importantly, the compact and simple-designed BDP-330 can be controlled by a free iPhone Remote Control application available from the Apple Store. Included also is the Precision Quartz Lock System, a 2009-released technology that ensures jitter-free, higher-quality audio playback. Additional features include the decoding of HD sound tracks, HDMI 1080p/24fps video with support for deep color 36bit/WVYCC, and compatibility with AVCHD, MP3, WMA, and JPEG file formats.
