The Philips BDP7310 is a midrange Blu-ray Disc player released in early 2009. The BDP7310 was announced by Philips at CES 2009 in Las Vegas, along with the BDP3010 and BDP5010. Physically, this Blu-ray player has a distinctive silver trim and an eject button located opposite the main control panel for added convenience. The BDP7310 features full 1080p video output at 24 frames per second to provide an original cinematic experience. This Blu-ray player supports up to 7.1 channel surround sound. The Philips BDP7310 is a profile 2.0 player, meaning Bonus View and BD-Live features are fully supported. A 1GB SD card is included to help utilize these features. Additionally, standard DVDs can be played and upconverted on this unit to 1080p resolution. Users can also view photo slideshows, play music and view DivX/WMV media files via its SD memory card slot. A remote control is also included.
